Some say a supple mind is a key component to aging well, and the only way to keep the mind supple is to keep it challenged and engaged.
For adult learners across Pinellas County this has never been easier, thanks to the latest offering from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), a top leader in adult education. OLLI will offer nearly 150 non-credit classes aimed at providing the most innovative educational experiences available to those 50 and over.
Exciting subjects offered in OLLI’s upcoming Fall Term include arts and film, history, culture and spirituality, current events, fitness and health, as well as premier technology courses, all of which are open to adult learners across Pinellas County.
In addition to courses with titles like “Remembering Pearl Harbor” and “Unlocking Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone,” OLLI also organizes special activities like group day trips exploring notable sites in our local region, the assembly of special interest groups, and even international excursions.
Whether experiencing a fascinating course on the grounds of beautiful Eckerd College or embarking on a special activity of a lifetime, OLLI offers plenty of ways to keep your mind inspired.
Classes and activity fees vary from $10 – $45 for OLLI members, and an annual
membership is $49 per person. To learn more, call 727-864-7600 or view the full
