The Off Broadway Palm Theatre in Fort Myers presents A Tuna Christmas playing Nov. 16 – Dec. 25. Preceded by Greater Tuna, it’s the second in a series of comedic plays.
The action takes place during the
holiday season in Tuna, Texas, the third smallest town in the Lone Star State where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. Two actors portray 24 eccentric town characters trying to cope with seasonal traumas such as the disaster-prone little theatre production of A Christmas Carol, and a yard-decorating contest being sabotaged by a mysterious Christmas phantom.
“So funny it could make a
raccoon laugh affectionately at
Davy Crockett…It’s far too good
for just Christmas”.
