April Showers Bring May Flowers The old adage is true: a shower of April events leads right into all the great celebrations in May, and this month is full of amazing holidays and happenings. Many people begin their April with April...
Possibly the best part of the weather warming up and easing us into summer is the opportunity to start exploring nature again or even enjoying the sun in your own backyard. April is probably one of my favorite months simply because the weather is near perfect (never mind the rain), and
January… a new beginning. Time to reflect on the past year and make resolutions for the new one, to start a new project, take up a new hobby, or recommit to good habits that may have slipped away.
September is here, and I know I may be jumping the gun a bit in saying this, but so is fall! The month of May is always exciting as it marks what feels like the start of summer (even though the season does not officially start until June 21) and several holidays sprinkled throughout the month. However, many seniors must cancel their yearly summer travel plans once again to keep themselves safe as the pandemic continues. If you’re itching to get out there and explore this summer but find yourself stuck at home, visit some of the amazing places in our virtual summer travel guide for 2021 to quench your thirst for life.
Last year, I wrote about how November has always been my favorite month—the anticipation of the holidays, the cooler atmosphere and the perfect weather for having cozy afternoons indoors. My opinion still has not changed, I just wanted to reminisce and recap.
January… a new beginning. Time to reflect on the past year and make resolutions for the new one, to start a new project, take up a new hobby, or recommit to good habits that may have slipped away.
Here we are again at the edge, looking out at the potential 2022 presents. Have you decided what you’d like to accomplish this year? With each January comes a renewed focus on personal health, whether it be physical or emotional health or just general well-being. The onset of a new year is a great time to begin new daily practices that can help nourish you from the inside out.
