Sarasota County is the new home of Atlanta Braves’ spring training. Constructed with the guest’s experience in mind, this brand-new stadium is complete with everything that a baseball fanatic could want. From god beer to great views, this park is your destination for entertainment this spring.

About the park

The stadium is built with the fan’s comfort in mind. Although it has several thousand seats, it’s also designed to allow visitors to move freely through the walkways in order to view spring training from any angle. According to Mike Dunn, V.P. of Florida Operations for the Braves in an interview with Visit Sarasota about CoolToday Park, “We want people to navigate. We want them to be able to watch from center field, watch from right field, down the lines.”

Not only does the stadium have several features that will impress any baseball aficionado, but it also includes several different food stands and restaurants that will make you feel as though you’ve taken a trip to Atlanta. Southern food classics like barbecue and fried chicken and catfish round out the experience for CoolToday guests.

However, in the stadium’s off season, it can (and will) be used for other community events, concerts and shows. The 90-acre complex is suited to host a number of guests for any occasion.

The first home scrimmage is March 1 against the Washington Nationals.
