Possibly the best way to cool down is by eating or drinking something cold. It’s refreshing, immediately cooling and is a great excuse to take a break from the heat. And what better way to relive your favorite season as a child than by making your own homemade freezer popsicles? The beauty of these cool treats is that you can throw together virtually any combination of fruits (or vegetables too, we won’t judge you) in order to create your favorite flavor profile in frozen treat form. Not to mention, you can share a popsicle with your pup by making him or her their own special batch- click here for pupsicle recipes.
Here are a couple of easy recipes for a cool, sweet afternoon treat.
Orange Popsicle: Get Your Frozen Vitamin C
Pour orange juice into your popsicle mold until 2/3 full. Add chunks of your desired fruit, anything from fresh pineapple, strawberries or peaches. Freeze overnight or a minimum of six hours.

Berry Popsicle: Creamy, Cool and Berry Yummy
In a blender, blend two cups of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries or a berry mix. Pour berry puree into a large bowl and add two tablespoons of honey and two cups of Greek yogurt (preferably vanilla). Fold gently to create a marbled affect. Once combined, pour into your popsicle mold and let freeze overnight for best results.
